“13th” – A movie and community discussiong:
13th is an Oscar-nominated documentary by Ava DuVernay (director of Selma) about how the prison system in the United States reveals our nation's history of racial inequality. It is extraordinary and galvanizing.
The movie will be shown on Sunday, March 26 at 12:45 in the Fireside Room, followed by discussion from 3:00 to 4:00. Please feel free to join us at 3:00 for the discussion if you have already seen the movie. It’s available on Netflix.
Snacks will be provided.
